Pyramid Scheme - Your job

Hey everyone,

People whine about pyramid schemes, and refer to networking marketing as being a pyramid scheme.

Do you want to know what a pyramid is? Well since you say so, I'll tell you.

YOUR JOB.

The guy at the top, the CEO, gets the benefits of being at the top. He or she gets lots of money and stock options, etc.

The workers are at the bottom (and there are lots of them) are working their hours to keep the "monster" (the company) profitable and moving forward.

The worker gets paid for their experience, but the real money is made at the top. It all gets funneled up. You may become CEO someday if the current CEO retires or dies, or you get more education, or some other "freak" chance. The odds are that you may not reach the executive level, you'll probably do your hours complaining about it, get your money every other week and go home tired and mad, and then take your frustrations out on your wife, kids, or pet.

You need a chance to become the executive. Network Marketing puts the odds in your favor. It allows you to be the CEO and for everyone on your team to be the CEO of their own business.

Now what's the real pyramid deal? Your job or Network Marketing?

Making the right decision

Ben Franklin, one of America's greats, had a formula to determine if he were to do something or not. You may be hesitating and trying to decide whether you should do something or not.

Take a paper and put a line down the center of it. On one side write down all of the reasons why you should do a thing. On the other side, put all the reasons why you should not do something.

Make the commitment to do whatever the paper tells you.

We are going to do this practice in regards to the Waiora business opportunity. You can apply this same principle to any other area of your life as well.

Here is the thought process, the decision to make, "Should I do this business, should I use these products or not?"

Here are the pros:

Very low risk. Low startup cost. ($30?)
Unlimited potential
Home based
Time freedom
Improve your health
Improve the health of others
Tax advantages
Recognition
Personal growth
Very young company with a lot of experience.
Debt free
Profitable

• Have products that are marketable and beneficial and that people want and need.

Here are the cons:

Time spent building the business.
Money spent, a small investment on products.

o You can use this product.
o You can sell back to the company.

Hmmmm.... (kind of weak)

What if this really will work? What if you can build a full time income? What if you can build a college fund for your children? What if you can get out of debt (on your house mortgage, car note, or other consumer debt)? What if I should have been using the "Natural Cellular Defense", and I didn't? What if I should have told a friend or a family member, and I didn't?

Maybe you ought to stop saying you can't and start saying you can.

Toxic Lead found in handbags

Hello everyone,

I received a forwarded email from my wife referring to the lead that is found in handbags.

This email was from Carol Schumacher of Holistic Birth Care, birth naturally. My wife is pregnant and we use her midwife services.

I felt that it was appropriate to give you kind readers a “heads up”…

“Oakland, CA-High levels of lead have been found in dozens of vinyl
and faux leather women’s handbags, purses and wallets purchased from
Bay Area outlets of major retailers, according to testing by the
Center for Environmental Health (CEH). The accessories were found to
violate California standards for lead exposure under the state’s
Proposition 65 consumer protection law. The material on the
accessories tested at up to 90 times higher than the federal lead
paint standard (federal regulations limit lead in paint to no more
than 600 ppm).

“We know that women use their purses to carry almost anything, but
most women would be shocked to learn that they are carrying lead in
their purses,” said CEH Research Director Caroline Cox. “With safer
materials available, there is no reason that anyone should be selling
these lead-tainted products.”

Purses and other accessories found with high lead levels were
purchased from major retailers, including Target, WalMart, Macy’s,
Kohl’s, Sears, JC Penney’s, Ross, and other Bay Area stores. Products
with high lead levels were found at all but five of the 21 retailers
from which the nonprofit shopped. Brands found with high lead levels
include Nine West, xhilaration (a Target store brand), Rosetti and
several others. CEH initiated legal action against the retailers and
accessory makers today for violating Proposition 65.

CEH is advising women, and especially pregnant women, to avoid vinyl
and faux leather accessory bags and to keep these accessories away
from children. Lead was found in bags of all colors, and was
prevalent in yellow and yellow-tinted (eg, green and orange) bags,
suggesting that lead could be contained in the material and/or in the
yellow dye.

Scientists are increasingly concerned that there is no safe level of
lead exposure, especially for pregnant women and young children. Two
recent studies, both published in the National Institute of
Environmental Health Sciences’s peer-reviewed journal Environmental
Health Perspectives, demonstrated the impacts that lead exposure
during pregnancy can have on a women’s unborn child.

One study, investigating children’s IQ scores in relation to their
mother’s blood lead level, concluded that lead exposure during
pregnancy could have “lasting and possibly permanent effects” on a
child’s IQ. The second study showed that lead exposure during the
first trimester (three month period), when some women are not even
aware that they are pregnant, had the most pronounced effects on a
child’s mental development.

Lead is also listed by the EPA and other agencies as a cancer-causing
chemical, and lead exposure has been linked to higher rates of
infertility in women, an increased risk of heart attacks, strokes,
and high blood pressure, among other health problems.

CEH’s legal work has previously uncovered lead threats from toys,
vinyl baby bibs, children’s jewelry and many other products. CEH has
a ten-year track record of protecting consumers from hidden health
hazards and protecting communities from health hazards related to
toxic pollution. CEH also works with major industries and leaders in
green business to promote healthier alternatives to toxic products
and practices.

Linear income vs Leveraged income (PT2)

If you're normally late for work you are either no longer working (fired or about to be) or you're a contractor.
If you are a contractor, you are paid for the time that you are actually doing something for the company. Either you are making the company money or you are one of the support (knowledgebase), and the company pays you to sit and wait... I'm actually a person who is the "support" staff (that's correct, one)

If you are a contractor, you need to make money in the time you are not actually working, maybe you're running behind, or stuck in traffic, on vacation, etc. Bottom line is, you're not working so you're not getting paid.

This is "linear income". You work an hour, you get paid an hour. You need to have a way to "leverage" what you did yesterday or some time ago.

Find out how get paid to customer subscriptions or some other residual way. Most have heard the example that if you get a dollar (100 pennies) from a million people, you'll have a million dollars (if not, now you have).

People have to eat, so they keep coming back to the store for food. People take vitamins to stay healthy so they keep on buying them to maintain their health. And on and on...

Why so good? People want it, the company is grounded, there is scientific proof, it has helped others, there is support (people to ask, when you have questions), you make money with it, people keep buying it, it's recession proof, it's inexpensive to get started ($30!), etc.

Linear income vs Leveraged income

Hello everyone,

What difference does it make Linear income vs Leveraged income? People have to make their living (make money) doing something, so you fall into either the "linear" or "leveraged" category.

Most everyone who reads this earns money in a linear way. Most everyone has been brought up with a "linear income" mindset. Linear income is that if you work an hour, you get paid for an hour. 97% of the population earn money this way and that's probably why most people know about it, and are used to it.

You probably recall as a kid growing up, dad went to work in the morning and came home in the evening. If you had a different situation you recall differently, but bottom-line is that somebody had to work to get paid.

Leveraged income is what 3% of the population do to make their money. That's what all the people with companies do to make their money. Companies leverage your abilities and educational skills and others they hire, to make them money, then the company pays you a lesser amount. The difference that the company earns and what they pay the employees makes the company profit.

The leverage income path is the better path to go on, but since only 3% of the population is doing it, this must be difficult to proceed with, that is why so few are doing it.

To have a company, you have to pay for product development, benefits, personnel, building rent, and other costs. Unless you work with a good network marketing company. One that has a potential for profit. One that is legal. One that has products people want to buy, products that actually help people's lives.

For the common person to get a company started and to take part of this leveraged income idea, it's very profitable, but he or she will not even get started because it is too involved, too complicated, and it is just easier to get a job somewhere.

I started out working in a warehouse and doing other manual work with my back, then I figured that working with my brain would be more promising and profitable. So I started working with computers and my brain (I figured computers would be profitable in the future). I worked "linearly" for a computer company, then I went out as a contractor and a computer service provider. both linear income options, and I know that if I don't do work, I don't get paid.

I don't mind working, but if I work one day, I want it to pay off in the near future. Now I am seeing where leveraged income is far more superior.

Here is my career experience:

Where I have been: manual labor and brain work (both linear income streams)
Goal: leveraged income. (This is income not dependent ultimately on my own efforts)
